PANEL: Superhero Shows from Japan
DESCRIPTION: Superheroes are an American creation, and a major facet of American cartoons and comics. The idea of people with amazing abilities and funny costumes punching people isn’t an American monopolization of the concept though because Japan also makes some really great cartoons about superheroes. A superhero anime is a little different though incorporating Japan’s own storytelling quirks and tradition with the genre. Whether you’re a superhero fan looking for a fresh perspective on the subject, or an anime fan who just wants to watch some cool shows, these fairly recent anime about superheroes are something you should check out.
