Welcome to the Wasabiverse. Let’s help you get started!
WasabiCon is a three-day convention for fans of anime, cosplay, tabletop gaming, video games, and pop culture. Attending for the first time can feel a little overwhelming, so we’ve gathered the information you need to plan ahead and enjoy the event. 1. Buy Your Ticket
A valid ticket is required to attend WasabiCon. We recommend purchasing yours in advance to save time when you arrive at the venue. Buy your WasabiCon ticket here.
2. Book Your Hotel
With more than 130,000 square feet of event space and hundreds of hours of programming, WasabiCon offers plenty to keep you busy throughout the weekend. Make sure you have a comfortable place to recharge by booking a hotel room in advance. Several local hotels offer special rates for WasabiCon attendees, but room blocks can fill quickly. View hotel options and make your reservation here.
3. Plan for Parking
The Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center has more than 900 parking spaces, but they typically fill early each day of WasabiCon. Review nearby parking and transportation options in advance, and plan how you’ll get to and from the convention each day. View parking and transportation information here.
4. Follow WasabiCon on Social Media
Stay up to date on announcements and important event information by following WasabiCon on social media. We share updates across several platforms before and during the convention. Visit our Linktree for the most up-to-date list.
5. Finish your Cosplay
Cosplay isn’t required to attend WasabiCon, but it can be a fun part of the convention experience. Since costumes often take longer to complete than expected, try not to leave those final details until the last minute. Once your cosplay plans are set, share them online using our #COSPLANS social media frames. Download the #COSPLANS frames here.
6. Read the FAQ
A little preparation can help you make the most of your WasabiCon experience. Before attending, we strongly recommend reviewing our Frequently Asked Questions for important information about the convention, its policies, and what to expect. Read the Frequently Asked Questions.
7. Check the Schedule
WasabiCon typically publishes its schedule about two weeks before the convention. Review it in advance and make note of the panels, performances, and activities you don’t want to miss. Planning ahead will help you save time and navigate the convention more easily once you arrive. Once posted, you can find the event schedule here.
8. Download the App
The WasabiCon app is available for both Android and iOS devices. Use it to browse the convention schedule, create a personalized itinerary, and set reminders for the events you don’t want to miss. Download the app here.
